Christina Applegate Says She's "Proud" of '90s Cult Comedy 'Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead'

Christine Applegate, the Hollywood star famous for her roles in Married… With Children and Dead to Me, started acting at a very young age. Her TV roles were mostly secondary, and ultimately, she had her breakthrough in a 1991 comedy titled Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead. The movie wasn't exactly acclaimed back then, and it has faded out from popular culture (it was remade in 2024, but with a slightly different tone). Still, Applegate says that she's proud of making the movie that has since become a cult classic.
