Cillian Murphy's 'Red Eye' Is Still Underrated 20 Years Later
Before he won Academy Awards and starred in one of the small screen's most acclaimed period dramas, Cillian Murphy steadily plotted his Hollywood takeover and showcased his talents in popular films like 28 Days Later and Batman Begins. In 2005, he joined forces with horror maestro Wes Craven and Rachel McAdams to star in the psychological thriller Red Eye, which focuses on a young woman who becomes swept up in an assassination plot while being held hostage during a flight.
