Is '28 Years Later' a Box Office Success?
Although it opened behind How to Train Your Dragon,28 Years Later took a healthy bite out of the theatrical box office during its opening weekend. Coupled with critical acclaim and a long-awaited return 18 years in the making, the results indicate a surefire success for the viral zombie franchise. Yet, given the oversaturation of zombie movies and television since the original 28 Days Later, it's worth wondering how much life, if any, is left in the popular undead series.
