Newcastle make bid for Chelsea defender
Chelsea have accepted a reported andamp;pound;20 million bid from Newcastle United for centre-back Trevoh Chalobah, as the 25-year-old England international looks set for a departure from Stamford Bridge. Having spent some of last season on loan at Crystal Palace, the Eagles opted not to sign the 6 foot 4 defender on a permanent basis.
