Jason Statham's 'The Beekeeper' Is a Streaming Hit on HBO Max
One of Jason Statham's best recent action movies is flying up the streaming charts, despite having wings that are too small for its body and no feasible way of actually flying. As Statham continues his action resurgence by playing characters working in every known career field (see The Mechanic, Transporter, Spy, and the more generic A Working Man for more examples), it's his best film in this unofficial franchise that HBO Max users cannot get enough of on streaming. Statham has always been a fan favorite in the action genre, but audiences were positively buzzing about his performance in the 2024 hit, The Beekeeper, and that positive buzz has resulted in a second resurgence on streaming.
