Listen to Oasis soundcheck in Cardiff ahead of Live ’25 reunion tour kicking off

Alleged audio snippets of Oasis at soundcheck in Cardiff ahead of their mammoth Live ’25 reunion tour have found their way onto social media – check them out below.

The huge comeback tour begins on Friday night (July 4) in Cardiff’s Principality Stadium – the first of 19 shows in the UK and Ireland – with support acts Richard Ashcroft and Cast.

On Monday, footage of Oasis tunes alleged being performed from within the Principality Stadium were uploaded onto the Internet. The first was taken from across the stadium, and was uploaded by one Conor Gogarty, who wrote: “Oasis soundcheck in Cardiff just now @liamgallagher sounding biblical”.

In the clip, muffled live audio of Liam Gallagher and co on ‘Cigarettes & Alcohol’ can be heard playing through the stadium speakers.

A second clip of the same track was uploaded from right outside the stadium games, this time with much better audio – check it out below. Gavin Allen, who uploaded the clip, wrote: “THEY’RE IN THERE!!! @liamgallagher and @oasis are testing @pricicipalitysta speakers in Cardiff and they are LOUD”.

Liam Gallagher reacted to one of the clips being reposted via a fanpage, jokingly critiquing himself: “Mmm I’m not sure about the vocals there too aggressive he really needs to take a chill pill man he’s just so angry all the time I don’t know who he thinks he is as far as I’m concerted he’s just a bigmouth from up north”.

The clips have caused some discourse among fans – while some believe that Liam, Noel and the rest of Oasis were in the building, others argued that it’s a pre-taped recording used to test sound levels and that Oasis weren’t actually soundchecking in the flesh.

Liam has since responded to the confusion, telling a fan that the audio being played in the stadium it’s “defo a recording from rehearsals unless there’s 2 of me which I’m absolutely 1 million per cent here for well there for as well. ”

Ahead of the shows kicking off, Liam recently revealed that the opening show in Cardiff will have a start time of 8:15pm, telling fans: “Don’t be late or we’ll start without you and you don’t want that now do ya”. Yesterday, doors and stage times for the opening acts were revealed on social media.

Oasis’ UK and Ireland run includes seven dates at London’s Wembley Stadium, and will be followed by gigs in Canada, the US and Mexico, South Korea, Japan, Australia, Argentina, Chile and Brazil. The 2025 tour consists of 41 dates in total, ending on November 23 in São Paulo.

Earlier this week, the band teased that additional tickets to the tour could be on sale soon, with production releases being made available in the coming days.

Meanwhile, Aldi has renamed a Manchester branch “Aldeh” in honour of the upcoming reunion tour. The new sign comes along with “90s-inspired bucket hats” complete with an Aldimania logo.

The Gallagher Brothers recently reunited on camera to launch a line of Adidas Originals gear, although the ad was met with some criticism. Liam once again took to X to address the disapproval, remarking, “Oasis don’t discriminate”.

In other news, Oasis have urged fans to book their places now for the ‘Live ‘25’ merchandise pop-up stores in order to avoid queues.

Elsewhere, Liam recently responded to reports that Oasis’ crew have not been given tickets to the reunion tour, quipping they “don’t have friends”.
