MCU's 'Blade' Reboot Gets Another Disappointing Update From Mahershala Ali
Development on the MCU's Blade reboot has been trying to ice skate uphill for years. The project was first announced back in 2019, yet the movie appears to be no further along than when it was first announced. Mahershala Ali is set to star in the movie as the eponymous Daywalker, but the actor has remained one of the few constants throughout the project's lengthy development. Blade, the character, might be nearly immortal and have a greatly increased lifespan, but Mahershala Ali, the actor, is not, and he is even more desperate than ever to play the character in the MCU.
