Netflix's New Action Series 'Solo Leveling' Gets a Major Casting & Production Update
Sung Jinwoo and his gravity-defying aura are coming to Netflix in live-action! Last month, it was reported that Netflix would be developing a live-action adaptation of one of the most successful and popular action anime of all time: Solo Leveling. The series, produced by A-1 Pictures and based on the web novel by Chu Gong, debuted in 2021. While its first season was a decent success, it was Season 2, which released earlier this year as part of the Winter anime season, that took the world by storm. Fans were obsessed with the action-packed and gorgeously animated fight scenes, and Solo Leveling quickly became the most-watched and most-rated anime on Crunchyroll. Netflix planned to bring that excitement and action to life in a new TV adaptation, and the series just got the update fans have been waiting for.
