Netflix's 'The Diamond Heist' Is a Must-Watch True-Crime Documentary

What comes to mind when you think of English film director Guy Ritchie? The first titles you think of are probably 2024’s The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, the action comedy show known as The Gentlemen (released on Netflix that same year), or even 2008’s cult crime film RocknRolla. Many others in Ritchie’s library share the same over-the-top flamboyant style, but would you ever consider this same creative mind to be part of a documentary series? Recently premiering on Netflix on April 16, audiences once again dive into the criminal underworld with The Diamond Heist. Ritchie is the executive producer and brings professional thief Lee Wenham in front of viewers, along with his ill-fated story of trying to steal a $200 million diamond from the Millennium Dome on the morning of November 7, 2000.
