Netflix's 'Trainwreck' Trio Takes Over Streaming Chart as Audiences Discover the Truth of the Real-World Tragedies
Once a headline issue is no longer timely or in the interest of the public, it is rarely brought up as often. The only people who have to continue living with the once-trending topic are those who were unfortunately involved, especially when a tragedy happened. Netflix is revisiting some of these moments and giving individuals involved a chance to have their stories heard. Its hit anthology Trainwreckis currently taking over the streamer's chart, dominating the top ten with Trainwreck: Woodstock '99, Trainwreck: The Astroworld Tragedyand Trainwreck: Poop Cruise. Each series revisits what the streaming service calls "some of the most gripping, bizarre — and sometimes even horrifying — events that once dominated the mainstream media."
