'Ready or Not 2: Here I Come' Sets Release Date
Ready or Not: Here I Come has finished filming, and a release date has officially been set — a little less than seven years after the original film, Ready or Not, opened in theaters. Ready or Not: Here I Come was confirmed to be in development in 2024, and has been moving along quickly, with Ready or Not directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett returning to helm the sequel. In addition to the original film's final girl, Samara Weaving returning, the cast includes Kathryn Newton (Abigail), Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Kevin Durand (Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes), Olivia Cheng (Deadly Class), Shawn Hatosy (The Pitt), Néstor Carbonell (Lost), Elijah Wood (Lord of the Rings), and David Cronenberg (yes, that David Cronenberg).
