STAYC release new summer single album ‘I Want It’

STAYC have released a new single album ‘I Want It’ – check it out below.

Yesterday (July 23), the High Up Entertainment girl group released their new special single album, ‘I Want It’. Besides the focus track, the package also includes the b-sides ‘BOY’ and ‘Honestly’. Check them out below.

STAYC have also shared an accompanying music video for the title track ‘I Want It’. ‘I Want It’ is an energetic and carefree dance-pop track. Its music video sees the girl group dancing and singing through a myriad of difference settings and scenarios, including a carwash, the beach and a diner.

The ‘I Want It’ special single album comes after their three-track single package ‘S’ in March. ‘S’ included the singles ‘Bebe’, ‘Diamond’ and ‘Pipe Down’. Prior to that, they released the ‘…I’ single album in October, alongside an affecting music video for title track ‘GPT’.

Aside from ‘GPT’, the ‘…I’ single album also included an additional B-side track titled ‘Meant To Be’, a mellow jazz track about a romance that perseveres in the face of time and distance. The digital record also includes a cappella and instrumental versions of ‘GPT’.

STAYC’s July 2024 full-length debut album ‘Metamorphic’ scored a four-star review from NME, with Gladys Yeo writing: “True to its title, ‘Metamorphic’ is a celebration of STAYC’s coming-of-age, both on a personal and musical level. More than ever, the girl group have pushed themselves to their limits, exploring a myriad of new soundscapes and subject matter. While not every song hits it out of the park, the record succeeds in showcasing the girl group’s impressive range, and more than proves STAYC’s timeless charm and staying power.”
