Sydney Sweeney Gives Fans Exciting 'Barbarella' Update
Sydney Sweeney knows fans are waiting for her long-discussed remake of Barbarella, and the actress is hard at work on the film. In 2022, it was announced that Sweeney would star in and produce a remake of the 1968, Jane Fonda-led sci-fi cult classic. In 2024, director Edgar Wright signed on to direct and is expected to begin work on the film after his next film, the remake of The Running Man, which happens to star Sweeney's Anyone but You co-star Glen Powell.
