The Fantastic Four's 1970s Cartoon: A Weird and Wonderful Journey
Between The Fantastic Four: First Steps and Thunderbolts*, the MCU seems to be saved — until the next "bad" movie comes out, and this slogan inevitably goes the other way around. But let us savor the moment and celebrate the small victories. Marvel’s first family has finally achieved a victory on the big screen — beating both Galactus and box office projections. They have certainly taken a long time to get here, though. Starting from the early '90s, there have been four films centered around the superhero team (yes, I’m counting the unreleased Roger Corman epic — who wouldn’t?) and four animated television series.
