'The Handmaid's Tale': Is Joseph Lawrence a Hero or a Villain?
The Handmaid’s Tale is finally back with its sixth and final season. One of the main cast members returning is Commander Joseph Lawrence (Bradley Whitford), a powerful commander who seems to have a soft spot for some of the women, especially June (Elisabeth Moss). But he’s also a powerful leader and supporter of Gilead. These conflicting identities and allegiances have become even more complicated in Season 6, making it impossible to know whether Lawrence can be trusted.
