'The Last of Us' Fans Were Wrong About Kaitlyn Dever's Abby
Spoiler Alert: Spoilers follow for The Last of Us Season 2Nearly two weeks later, The Last of Usfans still haven’t recovered from the seemingly unthinkable (or at least non-gamers haven’t). Season 2’s second episode, “Through the Valley”, saw the shocking murder of series protagonist Joel (Pedro Pascal) at the hands of ensemble newcomer Abby (Kaitlyn Dever). In a classic case of poetic irony (or justice, depending on how you look at it), Abby was revealed to be the daughter of the lead doctor Joel killed in the first season finale.
