'Thunderbolts*' Director Explains Why Sebastian Stan's Bucky Had To Join MCU Team
When the team for the Thunderbolts* was first announced at San Diego Comic-Con, it came as a surprise to nobody that two of the characters put at the forefront were Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh) and Bucky Barnes, aka the Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan). The former is one of the most popular and highly sought-after actors working today, and the latter is a mainstay in the Marvel Cinematic Universe who hasn't had a permanent place in a superhero team. Now, Director Jake Schreier has spoken about how Bucky fits into the Thunderbolts superhero team.
