H.G. Wells’ War of the Worlds has been adapted many times in many ways, and a trailer for the imminent latest version has just arrived. From Orson Welles' panic-inducing radio broadcast, to Jeff Wayne’s incredible musical album, and Steven Spielberg’s movie with Tom Cruise, it is sometimes hard to imagine that there can be anything new to bring to the party. However, that hasn’t stopped Ice Cube and Eva Longoria joining forces with Prime Video to rework the old alien invasion story into an even more modern take than its previous incarnation. In short, it has vlogs, and online video calls and all those types of things.
