Haim have mashed up Addison Rae‘s ‘Headphones On’ with Janet Jackson and Joni Mitchell.

The sister trio recently dropped their new album ‘I Quit‘, and are soon to play a show at Margate on June 27.

Before they get to Margate, Haim have stopped by BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge to perform their cover of the breakout star’s song, which appears on her debut album ‘Addison‘.

Haim also interpolated Janet Jackson’s 1997 single ‘Got ‘Til It’s Gone’ into the cover – which, in turn, samples Joni Mitchell’s seminal track ‘Big Yellow Taxi’.

Take a listen to their take on ‘Headphones On’ below:

Alongside their Margate appearance, Haim are rumoured to appear at a secret slot at Glastonbury this weekend.

A mysterious band called ‘Patchwork’ is scheduled to play at the Pyramid Stage on Saturday – and fans have suspected the band might be Haim. In conjunction with their one-off date in Margate ahead of their ‘I Quit’ tour starting in September, fan has suggested the name may reference a novel written by Sylvia Haim, along with a 2015 movie featuring three young women – paralleling the three sisters that make up Haim.

Responding to rumours of a secret set on BBC Radio 2, Haim did tease that they “shall be in the area”, calling the Park Stage their “favourite” stage at the festival.

“You never forget the first time you step onto the farm,” Alana told Jo Whiley. “And it’s the most insane feeling, I think, that you’ll ever have. But it was an incredible… it’s the best festival in the world.”

In a four-star review of ‘I Quit’NME wrote that the record “is set at a crossroads in the grieving process, when lessons have already been learned, but the pain of memories still linger.

“But this is still a Haim album, and their songs never linger on despair, are never far from the warmth of their sisterhood. They’re no longer the pop group you once knew, but this record is proof that sometimes, you really do need to let go in order to grow.”

Meanwhile, in a four-star review of Addison Rae’s debut album, NME wrote that ‘Addison’ “is bold, expressive, and catchy as hell, and with little overt biography, it’s completely personal in its craftsmanship.”

In other news, a mysterious billboard from Glastonbury ‘TBA’ act has appeared in Castle Cary.
