Watch Pitbull fans gather and rave in bald caps for UK tour – “Mr Worldwide” responds

Thousands of Pitbull fans donned bald caps for his latest UK tour, and the artist has shared what he makes of it.
The sight of thousands of concertgoers wearing bald caps was seen throughout the week as the ‘Timber’ hitmaker headed to this side of the pond for his latest run of UK tour dates.
The shows included a stop at Co-op Live in Manchester on June 8, and a show at The O2 in London last night and the night before (June 9-10), which followed on from his gig there in February.
For the gigs, fans maintained the ongoing tradition of copying the singer’s style by sporting bald caps and sunglasses during the show, and some took things a step further by even donning fake facial hair and a suit and tie to more closely resemble Pitbull.
While this has been a trend among fans for years, the latest turnouts across the UK have taken things to a new level – check out some footage of the gigs below.

Pitbull himself has also responded to the efforts made by fans in the UK, saying that seeing thousands of people dressed like him makes him “very, very happy”.
“[It’s] an honour,” he told the BBC in a new interview. “It’s the ultimate trophy to be able to go on stage and see all the hard work that you put into the music.
“I’ve been in the game for 25 years and to see every demographic, everybody [dressing up] at the shows is priceless,” he added, before sharing how fans have adapted to his style of singing in both Spanish and English.
“There’s an irony as I’m kind of an anomaly in the music business… In the Latin world they said I was too English, and in the English world I was too Latin, so to bring it together now, when it all really started around 2010, feels really good.
“I now get the chance to merge the worlds together and to be able to hit the stage and see the power of music, no matter the language.”
In other Pitbull news, last year saw the 44-year-old singer, real name Armando Christian Perez, re-credited Kesha on their collaborative song ‘Timber’, following backlash for her name being removed from the 2013 video.
Before then, his song ‘I Feel Good’ was at the centre of an infringement lawsuit, and he also purchased the naming rights for the Florida International University Stadium – renaming the venue as the Pitbull Stadium.
