Ginny & Georgia is back for a third season on Netflix now, but can fans expect to see it come back for a season four? Read on for all the latest.

The drama follows the complex life of Georgia Miller (Brianne Howey), the free-spirited single mother of the teenage Ginny (Antonia Gentry). After years on the run, the show sees Georgia settle in Massachusetts in an effort to provide a stable life for her children, although secrets from their past routinely catch up with them.

The third season was commissioned in May 2023, a few months after the second season premiered, and all 10 episodes landed on the streaming service on Thursday (June 5). See the trailer for it here:

An official synopsis for season three reads: “It’s always been Ginny and Georgia against the world, but the world has never come for them quite like this. Now, Ginny needs to see where she stands when push comes to shove – is the two of them against the world something Ginny really wants to sign up for?”

Will Ginny & Georgia get a season four?

With the third season having only just arrived, it is too soon for Netflix to have made a public decision about the potential for a fourth run of episodes.

As is customary for many of the streamer’s biggest properties, the official recommissions for Ginny & Georgia have come within months of each season dropping. Season one landed in February 2021 and was renewed in April that year, while season two arrived in January 2023 and was recommissioned in May that year.

Given that trajectory, Ginny & Georgia fans may have to wait until the end of the summer to discover whether the mother and daughter’s troubled relationship will be back on our screens for a fourth time.
