Alf Clausen, Emmy-Winning Composer for 'The Simpsons,' Dies at 84

Alf Clausen, the veteran composer who scored The Simpsons for 27 years, and also provided music for Moonlighting, The Naked Gun, and ALF, has died at the age of 84 after a near-decade-long battle with Progressive Supernuclear Palsy (PSP). His daughter Kaarin Clausen shared an Instagram post to confirm that her father had "passed peacefully" on May 29 "after a long and valiant struggle with Parkinson's." Alongside a carousel of photos, she fondly recalled some of her favorite memories with her Dad, writing in the caption:
