Donald Trump Takes Aim at Hollywood With Latest Tariff Threat
President Trump took aim at Hollywood yesterday in a new post on social media, saying he plans to implement a 100% tariff on all films produced outside the United States. The move comes as Trump continues his war on the world in an effort to make America great again by slapping huge tariffs on goods imported into the U.S. – the cost of which is then passed on to the consumer. While Trump was hoping that his plan would draw nations to the bargaining table to work out new trade deals, many are instead finding other countries to do business with, leaving the U.S. high and dry.
