Emilio Estevez Says He Wrote a Script for 'Mighty Ducks 4' That Disney Rejected
Emilio Estevez has revealed that he wanted to reprise his role as Coach Gordon Bombay for a fourth feature film in The Mighty Ducks series, but the franchise seemingly got benched after The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers. The actor, who headlined the original 1992 sports movie and picked up his hockey sticks for two more film sequels, in addition to the first season of the aforementioned Disney+ series in 2021, has admitted that he was game for a return and even wrote a script for The Mighty Ducks 4, but Disney iced it out.
