Emilio Estevez Wrote a Sequel to ‘Maximum Overdrive’ but No One Will Make It
While Stephen King adaptations have been on a high for many years now, before that there were some atrocious duds made bearing the prolific horror author’s name – including the one that he directed himself. That movie was the trash fire that is Maximum Overdrive, a movie based on the short story “Trucks” that sees an alien presence bringing a bunch of large vehicles to life in a murderous way. And it seems that its star, Emilio Estevez has been working on a sequel.
