‘Expedition 33’ best weapon for each party member

Expedition 33 has dozens of different weapons for every character that you can equip on your journey across The Continent. However, each one has different bonuses, stats, and buffs that can have an effect on your build. So, which ones are the best weapons?
Thankfully, we have more than 50 hours in the game and a great idea of the best weapons for each character in your party.
‘Expedition 33’ best weapons
- Lanceram – Best Gustave weapon
- Trebuchim – Best Lune weapon
- Medalum/Lithum – Best Maelle weapon
- Gobluson – Best Sciel weapon
- Chevalam – Best Verso weapon
- Joyaro – Best Monaco weapon
Found early on, Lanceram is by far the strongest weapon Gustave can wield. Its strength is decent, and the overall scaling makes it worth equipping once you obtain it in the Spring Meadows.
For Lune, nothing really ever overtakes Trebuchim, which is obtained in the Ancient Sanctuary. This weapon generates random Stains on free aim shots, allowing you to use some of Lune’s more powerful skills or damage boosts when consuming these Stains. The lightning element struggles in the mid-game, but gets much stronger later on.
With Maelle, you actually have two strong choices. Medalum is a great pick early on as it allows you to start in Virutose Stance, taking advantage of the damage boost. It can be found by defeating Sciel in the Gestral Village as Maelle or by beating Golgra.
The second weapon is Lithum, which can be found in The Reacher upon defeating the area’s boss. It allows you to hit a marked enemy and not remove the mark, provided you are in Virtuose Stance.
For Sciel, Gobluson is our pick, but most of her weapons are strong. This doubles up Fortell applied when in Twilight on random enemies. It can be obtained by defeating the Chromatic Goblu boss on The Continent or in the Coastal Cave.
Next up is Verso. Our choice for the best weapon is Chevalam. Found in the Crimson Forest, this weapon allows you to start the battle at Rank S, at the cost of preventing him from being healed or gaining shields. You also get Rush on Rank S when this weapon is upgraded.
Finally, for Monaco, the best weapon by far is Joyaro. It is unlocked from the Lampmaster boss in the Flying Manor in Act 3 onwards. This weapon is powerful when paired with protection and shield-based skills, as you start every battle in Almighty Mask and gain 20% increased damage for each consecutive turn where you don’t take damage. This stacks up to five times.
On top of that, the lightning damage is strong, and you can deal additional break damage when leveled past level 20.
