They met in the first spin-off series, Young Sheldon, and their story continues in Medford, Texas. Other returning characters include Mandy's parents, Audrey (Rachel Bay Jones) and Jim McAllister (Will Sasso), Meemaw (Annie Potts), Missy Cooper (Raegan Revord), and Georgie's mother, Mary Cooper (Zoe Perry).
