HBO Max's 'Booster Gold' DCU Series Nabs 'Our Flag Means Death' Writer
Booster Gold, one of the DCU's most anticipated projects, has finally gotten a positive update two and a half years after it was initially announced. In January 2023, James Gunn outlined part of the plan for Chapter 1 of the DCU, subtitled "Gods and Monsters." One of the projects announced was Booster Gold, a comedy television series centered around the time-traveling superhero. While Peacemaker Season 2 and Lanterns moved forward, Booster Gold appeared to struggle, but the series might have finally found its footing with a new writer who has a history with HBO and crafting critically acclaimed comedies.
