Here’s everything Halsey played to kick off the ‘For My Last Trick’ North American tour

Halsey has kicked off her ‘For My Last Trick’ North American tour – see the full list of what she performed alongside footage below.

On Saturday (May 10), Halsey played the first of numerous gigs across North America in support of her latest album, ‘The Great Impersonator’. The California show saw her debut a number of tracks from the album, as well as a handful of rarities.

Prior to the tour’s kick-off, she took to social media to share a letter to her fans, where she suggested that its setlist will be ever-changing: “Each song was carefully selected. For good reason. There will be many moments where you’re not so sure, but the person next to you is screaming. And some where your neighbor just doesn’t get it, but I’m playing the song you crossed your fingers you’d here. Don’t trust the moon. She’s always changing.”

Among the songs she debuted on May 10 are ‘Darwinism’, ‘Arsonist’, ‘Only Living Girl in LA’ and ‘Alice of the Upper Class’, while songs that have found their way back onto her rotation after years away include ‘Alone’, ‘Control’, ‘Angel On Fire’ and ‘Drive’ – all of which mark their first time being performed since 2019.

Halsey kicked off the set with ‘Darwinism’, followed by ‘Bad At Love’, ‘Alone’ and ‘Lucky’. Other tracks she performed throughout the night included ‘Lilith’, ‘Lonely is the Muse’, ‘Closer’, ‘Gasoline’, ‘Nightmare’ and ‘The Great Impersonator’.

Check out fan-shot footage of the gig below.

Just ahead of the tour’s kickoff, Halsey released a new single with Evanescence‘s Amy Lee titled ‘Hand That Feeds’. The dramatic song will appear on the soundtrack to the upcoming John Wick spin-off film Ballerina, which is out on June 6. Evanescence are due to join Halsey on the May 14 date of the latter’s tour.

In a five-star review of Halsey’s ‘The Great Impersonator’NME wrote: “Looking back through her recent catalogue, ‘Manic’ is more stylistically diverse, ‘If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power’ more musically ambitious, but ‘The Great Impersonator’ is Halsey’s most honest album – that is if you choose to believe her.”

The project landed at Number 39 on NME‘s 50 best albums of 2024 list, with the single ‘Lonely Is The Muse’ earning a place in our 50 best songs of the year run-down.
