Jason Statham's 'A Working Man' Is Great Thanks to Its Villains
A Working Man wasn’t one of Jason Statham’s best. That much is true. This explosive action thriller, which followed a construction foreman who went about rescuing his boss’s daughter, didn’t cut it with critics or the box office. The movie made considerably less than Statham’s most recent films that had the same budget (that is, 2024’s The Beekeeper and 2021’s Wrath of Man), and high-profile movie analysts seem to be divided on whether it’s acceptable or outright trash.
