Kevin Costner's Horizon franchise is sinking deeper and deeper into quicksand, and even the franchise's cast is uncertain about the future of the Western epic. Horizon: An American Saga - Chapter 1 was released in 2024 to middling reviews and an underwhelming box office take, putting plans on hold for Costner's partly self-funded passion project franchise.
