Liam Gallagher hits back at critics of Adidas campaign: “Oasis don’t discriminate”

Liam Gallagher has hit back at those criticising Oasis’ recent campaign with Adidas.
The collaboration was officially announced on June 19, as both Liam and Noel are preparing to kick off their hugely anticipated reunion tour this summer.
In the three-minute-long clip, their 1994 single ‘Live Forever’ plays over old and new footage of the brothers wearing Adidas. It also teases the new range of merchandise and makes nods to their iconic shows at both Knebworth and Heaton Park.
The collection includes Firebird tracksuits, raglan sleeve jerseys, bucket hats and coach jackets, and will be available at Adidas stores, on the brand’s website, Oasis’s official website, at the new pop-up store, and at all of the upcoming live shows.
While many fans were excited at the new merch – and at the latest glimpse of Liam and Noel together following the reunion announcement – it seems some have been more critical of the collaboration with Adidas.
Today (June 23), the singer has taken to X/Twitter to call out those being negative towards the partnership, and reaffirmed that Oasis “don’t discriminate” against anyone.
“I’m hearing loads of chat about who this Adidas / Oasis collaboration is for,” he began. “It’s for everyone now get involved and stop crying your heart out LG X.”
He continued: “And if it’s not your cup of tea, DON’T buy it. But don’t MOAN about it as well you soft c***s”
“Ooh it’s for the young fans… it’s for everyone old n young,” he wrote in another update, before concluding: “Ps Oasis do not discriminate”.

Oasis’ historic tour will kick off on July 4 in Cardiff’s Principality Stadium – marking the first of 19 shows in the UK and Ireland with support acts Richard Ashcroft and Cast. Other UK dates include seven shows at London’s Wembley Stadium.
Following the UK and Ireland run, Oasis will head over to Canada, the US and Mexico, South Korea, Japan, Australia, Argentina, Chile and Brazil. There are 41 dates in total, and they will wrap up on November 23 in São Paulo.
As NME exclusively revealed earlier this spring, Noel and Liam will be joined by guitarists Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs and Gem Archer as well as bassist Andy Bell.
On drums will be newcomer Joey Waronker, who has never played with Oasis before but joined for Liam and John Squire’s collaborative album last year. He has worked with the likes of Beck, R.E.M., Elliott Smith and Roger Waters, as well as being a member of Thom Yorke‘s Atoms For Peace band.
