Madonna Netflix Limited Series in the Works; Shawn Levy to Direct
Madonna is the original "Material Girl" and has inspired generations of artists to step outside the box. In order to achieve her massive success, the global superstar had to endure harsh scrutiny that stemmed from her music being labeled seductive and inappropriate. (Her career also involved many, many controversies.) Now, she's ready to tell her story, with a little help from a major streaming service and an Academy Award nominee. According to Deadline, Madonna has partnered with Netflix to turn her story into a limited series about her life and music. The project is still in early development.
