MCU Rumor Suggests a Fan-Favorite Villain Will Return From the Dead for 'Vision Quest'

No one ever stays dead for long in multi-billion-dollar movie franchises, and the latest MCU rumor is supporting that point. The Marvel Cinematic Universe has seen its fair share of villains come and go, and come back again. Loki (Tom Hiddleston) is the standout example, while Thanos (Josh Brolin) also returned from the dead via time-travel, and even Ant-Man's Darren Cross (Corey Stoll) returned in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania — though that movie is best left forgotten. After years of development, and four years after the release of WandaVision, the VisionQuestseries finally appears to be moving ahead, and it may have found its villain in an MCU veteran character. Avengers: Age of Ultron saw the titular team fight the sentient AI program created by Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.). But Ultron's (James Spader) time in the MCU might not be over, and VisionQuest will make a major change to the Marvel Comics character.
