Mike Flanagan Confirms 'Doctor Sleep' and 'The Life of Chuck' Connection
Though it may not have been a massive hit in theaters, thanks to digital, people are finally discovering how wonderful Mike Flanagan's The Life of Chuck really is. It's a beautiful, introspective look at life that urges us to take time to smell the roses, and find joy in the little things we often take for granted. By contrast, Flanagan's adaptation of Doctor Sleep is much darker in tone, as it explores themes like abuse and trauma. However, the two movies share a connection that fans may have missed, and it was right there out in the open this whole time.
