Nicolas Cage's Jesus Christ Horror Film Gets a Release Update
Dark religious-themed films seem to be following Nicolas Cage in his career lately. His devilish performance in Oz Perkins' 2024 horror hitLonglegs certainly left an impression on religious and nonreligious audiences alike, but now Cage is turning to another side of religious storytelling. The National Treasure actor is diving back into a historical tale of epic proportions and this time a new, twisted layer is being added. The Carpenter's Sonis an upcoming retelling of a rarely mentioned dark version of Jesus' childhood, which will star Cage as the Carpenter, Joseph, FKA Twigs as the Mother, and Noah Jupe as the Boy. Now the movie has been given a heavenly release update.
