'South Park' Creators Strike $1.5 Billion Streaming Deal with Paramount

Who's up for going to Casa Bonita? Because the South Park creators have a lot to celebrate: Trey Parker and Matt Stone just signed a five-year streaming deal with Paramount that's worth $1.5 billion. (Yes, you read that right.) According to the Los Angeles Times, the conglomerate has acquired the global streaming rights to South Park. This deal will bring the satirical animated series to the company's streaming service, Paramount+, for the first time in the U.S. Through their production company, Park County, South Park co-creators Stone and Parker agreed to produce a total of 10 episodes per year.
