'The Running Man' Delays Release by One Week
2025 is the year of Stephen King, with four different feature films and one television show each being adapted from one of his books. Whether it was the short story The Monkey that was made into a film by Osgood Perkins early in the year, or Mike Flanagan's heartfelt adaptation of the Life of Chuck, or Francis Lawrence's film The Long Walk, King's bibliography has become a source of inspiration for writers and directors to bring his unique visions to life. One highly anticipated adaptation is The Running Man, which is directed by Edgar Wright. However, fans will have to wait a little longer to see Wright's vision for King's novel come to life, as the film has been pushed back to a later release date.
