'The Vampire Lestat' Ushers in 'Interview With the Vampire' Season 3 at SDCC
Interview With the Vampire sank its fangs into San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, July 26, as stars of the popular horror/romance series, including Sam Reid, Jacob Anderson, and Eric Bogosian, all appeared in Ballroom 20 to help promote Season 3. During the panel for Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe, AMC+ also released an exclusive "Sneak Peek Backstage" video (below) of the upcoming season, in which it was revealed that the show will change its title from Interview With the Vampire to The Vampire Lestat in 2026. Reid’s transformation into Rockstar Lestat is on full display during the must-see footage, and the actor can’t believe he’s actually getting to bring this David Bowie/Jim Morrison-esque iteration of the character from the novels to life on-screen. Reid said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly:
