That Johnny Depp comeback may have to wait. In what was supposed to be the actor's return to form, The Carnival at the End of Days was reportedly overhauled after writer/director Terry Gilliam claimed that the Trump presidency rendered most of the humor moot. Add another name to the enemies list. Depp, whose career was already slumping before the defamation trial against ex-wife Amber Heard, and who had a string of forgotten box-office flops, had previously blamed malicious critics for his films' failures. Then he claimed to be libeled by the press. It seems everywhere he looks, he spots conspirators trying to take him down.
