X-Men '97creator Beau DeMayo, who was fired by Marvel in the weeks prior to his mutant-centric animated series debuting on Disney+, has shared his unsolicited opinion on the studio's upcoming X-Menmovie. He spoke out about the project shortly after it was reported that Thunderbolts*director Jake Schreier had been selected to helm the reboot, which is expected to hit theaters sometime after the Multiverse Saga comes to an end, following the highly anticipated release of the MCU's mega-crossover film Avengers: Secret Wars in 2027.
