10 Best Movies Filmed in United States National Parks
There are 63 national parks in the United States, and at least as many movies set in national parks. Just because a film is set in a national park, however, doesn't mean that is where the movie was filmed. Between studio sets and scheduling conflicts, sometimes production has to dress up a different location to look like the real thing. Mount Rushmore in the 1959 classic North by Northwest is a prime example when it comes to this kind of movie magic.
