Yungblud announces opening of his own London venue, ‘Beautifully Romanticised Accidentally Traumatised’

Yungblud has announced the opening of his own venue in central London, which he has named ‘Beautifully Romanticised Accidentally Traumatised’.
Last month, reports emerged that the musician had plans to open the establishment at 20 Denmark Street in Soho, an area that is full of many longstanding and beloved musical instrument shops and cultural hotspots.
Now, he has revealed that the venue, which shares its name with his clothing line, will open on August 7 with “the biggest party I’ve ever thrown” and “you’re all invited”. Fans can register to attend the limited-capacity opening here.
He described it as “my first ever store and fan club”, and wrote in a post on X: “This building is a literal physical space where you can place your hands upon its bricks and belong. Here we have built a place to be yourself and find people with similar ideas to you. Whether it be to buy the clothes we make, come for a coffee, buy a beer, watch music, do an art class or just come and play pool you’re welcome, all we demand from you is that you spread the love.”
I’m so excited to announce the opening of my first ever store and fan club. Welcome to “beautifully romanticised accidentally traumatized”. Number 20 Denmark Street in the heart of central London. “This street, Denmark Street has paved the way for The Best of British music since the 1950s. I grew up on the street. It has always been my dream to have a building here. YOU made that dream come true and im eternally in your debt. I’m running this place with my best friends so so please come and support to keep this heart beating.”
Yungblud told the Daily Star last month: “I want people to hang out, meet and have a physical space to make real connections in this virtual world. There will be a leopard pool table downstairs.”
“My biggest dream is to have clubs all over the world where my fanbase can hang out, seven days a week, open all day and at night,” he added. “London is hopefully just the first one.”
He has also spoken about his desire to build a $100million business empire, and part of that came into practice when he launched his own “community-focused” festival, BludFest, last summer at the Milton Keynes Bowl, with headline sets from Yungblud himself and Lil Yachty, as well as Soft Play, The Damned and Lola Young.
The second BludFest took place at the same site in June, with Denzel Curry and Chase Atlantic joining Yungblud as headliners.
He has said that part of the reason he created BludFest was to offer the change in the affordability of live music that he wanted to see in the world. “We wanted to come back and do 20 bands for £65, because that’s the way it should be. In this world, there is nothing you can’t achieve if you are doing it from a place of truth, and for the right reason,” he said.
Yungblud also appeared at the farewell Black Sabbath gig last month, leading a supergroup for a cover of the band’s ‘Changes’, which he has since vowed to play “every night for the rest of my life” in tribute to Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away just weeks after the show.
The documentary Are You Ready, Boy? , which followed Yungblud as he played his new album ‘Idols’ for the first time, is also set for release later this month – find all the details here.
