Andy Samberg Shares Reason Why 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' Won't Return

There's something special about being part of a legendary cast and a show that can never be duplicated. Andy Samberg knows this all too well, as the actor led a star-studded cast on Brooklyn Nine-Nine. The police procedural sitcom, which premiered on September 17, 2013, was critically acclaimed, producing 153 episodes through eight seasons. Its first season kicked off its success, garnering a Golden Globe Award for Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy. At the same time, Samberg won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Television Series Musical or Comedy. Although the series ended in 2021, fans have been hopeful of a reunion or revival. During a conversation at San Diego Comic-Con, Andy revealed the heartfelt reason why it might not happen.
