Chris Evans Had This to Say About Anthony Mackie's Captain America
Marvel's most divisive Captain America movie saw Anthony Mackie star as the beloved superhero. Captain America: Brave New World hit theaters on February 14, 2025, and was the fourth installment of the Marvel Comics superhero film series. It was also a continuation of the television miniseries, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which had only six episodes on Disney+. Chris Evans, the original Captain America (Steve Rodgers) in the first three films, passed the torch — the shield — to Mackie (Sam Wilson) in Avengers: Endgame, and the rest was history.
