Horizon: An American Saga - Chapter 2's chances of getting a theatrical release are as tumultuous as living in the Wild West itself. Kevin Costner's self-funded passion project western hasn't quite revitalized the genre in the way the writer/director/actor probably hoped it would. Horizon - Chapter 1 was released last year to middling reviews from critics, although it found a strong and dedicated fan base after releasing on streaming. Horizon - Chapter 2 has already been shot and edited, and all that needs to happen is for New Line Cinema to pull the trigger on the sequel's release. Like the rest of the fan base, Horizon star Danny Huston is equally eager to see the movie on the big screen, but even he doesn't know if and when it will happen.
