'Poker Face' Season 2 Features Cynthia Erivo as 5 Different Characters
The anticipated second season of Peacock's original series Poker Face is finally here, and with it is an even bigger list of guest stars than the first. The crime comedy drama stars Natasha Lyonne in the Emmy-nominated role of Charlie Cale, a young woman with a gift: she can look at or listen to someone and instantly tell if they’re lying. There are so many ways she can use this gift (yes, that includes at the casino). But now that she’s on the run from bad guys, she finds herself in a different town, coincidentally at the center of a murder in every episode. The first episode of Season 2, called “The Game is a Foot,” stars Cynthia Erivo, who has made waves with roles in The Outsider, Genius: Aretha, and, of course, Wicked. She also appeared on Broadway in The Color Purple.
