James Wan has been the mastermind behind some of the greatest horror movies of the last 20 years, both as a director and producer. However, one movie that got away – for now – was his planned spinoff from The Conjuring franchise centered on The Crooked Man character. While fans of the creepy franchise were massively disappointed when the offshoot was scrapped, it seems that they are actually to blame for the film’s demise – as they became too obsessed with another character instead.
