'Call the Midwife' Prequel Series and Movie Officially in the Works
Over the past 13 years, Call the Midwife has easily established itself as one of the greatest British TV dramas ever made. Focusing around a group of midwives and nuns working in the East End of London, the series' story has spanned several decades and seen many characters come and go. Now, like Downton Abbey before it, Call the Midwife is finally getting a feature film, but fans have even more to celebrate as it's also been confirmed that a spin-off prequel series is in the works as well.
