Charli XCX and The 1975’s George Daniel share photos from London wedding

Charli XCX and George Daniel have shared photos from their wedding in London. Check them out below.
The couple tied the knot earlier this month, with the ceremony taking place at Hackney Town Hall on Saturday July 19. In the photos captured on the day, the ‘Brat’ star was seen clutching a white bouquet of flowers, as she and The 1975 drummer were surrounded by friends and family.
Little is known about the wedding, and it seems like it was an intimate event, with only around 20 people in attendance. Charli then shared a video from the day, showing off her Vivienne Westwood wedding dress – which she paired with some ‘Brat’-inspired sunglasses – joking that she would have left Daniel at the aisle if he didn’t cry at the sight of her.
Now, the two of them have shared more photos from the wedding on social media. Taking to Instagram, Charli shared a glimpse into the day by dropping a carousel of photos and writing the caption: ‘Did something”.
The first shows her bridal look, while the second shows her husband winking at the camera while smoking a cigarette. Others show them eating together after the ceremony and kissing outside Hackney Town Hall.

Charli first got to know George Daniel in 2021, when they teamed up to record the track ‘Spinning’. They later went on to confirm their romance on social media in 2022, and announced their engagement in November 2023.
After the announcement of their engagement, Charli shared that the song ‘Talk Talk’, which featured on ‘Brat’, was written about an encounter with Daniel at the 2020 NME Awards.
“We were both looking over at each other – it was very like, one of us would look and the other one would look away, and then just vice versa,” she said.
“In the song, I say, ‘I followed you to the bathroom and I felt crazy’. I did actually do that! I saw that he went to the bathroom, so I was like, ‘Oh, I’ll go to the bathroom and maybe we’ll bump into each other and then we won’t be like texting all the time’… But then I got halfway there and I was like, this is insane, and then I went and sat down again.”
On the night, Charli was nominated for Best Solo Act In The World, Best British Solo Act and Best Collaboration at the awards. She also presented the Songwriter Of The Decade Award to Robyn that night, alongside Christine And The Queens.
George Daniel was there as The 1975 picked up the Band Of The Decade Award, as well as Best British Band and the NME Innovation Award.
